Wash Park Portfolio
We're privileged to work
with a wonderful array of people on their garden
and landscape projects.
The owner of this Wash Park Bungalow wanted a landscape design that both enhanced the front of the house and eliminate the need to mow the properties's steep incline. More and more, tradtional grass lawns are giving way to welcoming gardens filled with beautiful flowers, shrubs, and trees. This approach can save water, lower maintenance, and increase curb-appeal.
For this bungalow, three beds were carved out of the hillside to create a cleaner, grander appearance. Building three tiers, and making each wider, allowed for longer beds to accommodate more plant material. This technique is a great way to display beautiful color comninations with perennials and shrubs.
Each Piece of Colorado buff stone was hand - chiseled to ensure a perfect fit. The result is
a elegant design with a uniform look. To add balance
to the top tier. A Clump Crabapple was planted in a curved bed of fragrant tea roses, A shade tree planted
in the opposite bed provides balance. A grape vine
was used to cover the homes third outer wall, adding
a finished touch to the front entry way.
